You can put in your travel information and it will look up prices and tell you whether you should buy now or whether the prices are likely to go lower. I would usually buy a domestic ticket 2-3 months in advance and international closer to 5-6 months but it doesn't hurt to check pricing history/prediction now. For travel during super busy times (around any holiday), I book as soon as I know dates. Otherwise, I try to use price trackers to help me guess.
