After a few weeks of doing it everyday (when I went back to work), I hear that she sucks down her 4 oz bottles in 5 minutes. I've never seen her take the bottle because I've always been gone when she's had them!</p> <p>She is 4 months and I'll just keep her on the lowest level nipples. I've even considered getting the premie nipples to make her drink slower/use more effort because sometimes it seems she gets frustrated at the breast...by how much more work it is maybe? She's a bit sloppy at it and it takes her a loooong time to finish a bottle - we're talking like 7-8 minutes per ounce. I suspect it will get better as she gets used to the bottle and her technique improves, but man it's a long time! How long does your LO typically take? </p> <p>We're using the slowest nipple right now. We tried a 3mo+ nipple but it seemed like it came out too fast for her and didn't encourage her to suck as much, so a lot of it was just dripping down her chin. </p>
