We were at the zoo this weekend and at the table next to us was a woman and a little boy who seemed a few months younger than my son. He kept growling at the little boy (in a friendly way, he's very into pretending to be a dinosaur) and the little boy was smiling and reacting, but the lady was NOT into it - we were trying to make a bit of small talk with her but she wasn't interacting with us or even our son at all, and I found it pretty off putting.
