By holding her hair it doesn't pull her scalp! I just use a little spray and one of those little detangler brushes that fits in your palm. Then I use a paddle brush after we get out of the bath, and again in the morning. It doesn't matter what it looked like the night before. I found the large paddle brushes work best with her. I have to comb her hair with my fingers and a brush for 10-15 minutes, and then later on Bee uses a detangler spray and another brush to complete the process.</p> <p>Our daughter is pretty stoic, although towards the end of the process she lets us know she doesn't want to do it any more! I'm wondering if maybe I should be more gentle and just take more time... or maybe we should start washing her hair every day. Or we could give her a haircut!</p> <p>How gentle are you when you detangle your LO's hair? </p>
