I was sent to voicemail AGAIN today, and in the voicemail I mentioned my previous voicemails. I finally got a call back and the scheduler apologized profusely. I guess I legitimately fell through the cracks. She had no idea I'd called twice already. I said "It's ok, I understand that things happen" and she said "No, it is not ok." At least they were really sorry. I've got stuck on hold quite a few times though. They always have a NP on staff to handle moms who feel they have an emergency that needs to come in. If it's my annual, I try to set it up when I leave my current annual. Otherwise, she can be pretty far out before seeing you! I usually tried (when possible) to set up the next appointment when I was in the office. More often than not, when I called, I was put on hold and then either no one ever picked it up, or it just hung up on me. I'm wondering if it's always as hard as it is with mine? I understand that they can't make appointments way in advance because they don't know who's on call until about a month or two out...but I called Friday and was sent to voicemail and left a message, I just called back today and was put on hold/transferred around for about 10 minutes before being sent to voicemail. I LOVE my doctors and they're super popular so I understand having to wait to see them...but really? This seems a little ridiculous. and I'm setting up a followup appointment...not even trying to get in for a new issue or an annual.
