LO is 17 months old and we have a groove down, sometimes she has trouble with going to sleep at night, but during the day she is pretty easy. The tantrums don't really phase me and she isn't doing them too often/they are short-lived. My 10 month old STTN, and she's very mobile, a great eater, and generally happy and playful. I have a lot of fun with her at this stage! It's definitely a challenge balancing work, her, school, my marriage, etc., but right now it feels like there's a good rhythm. Of course there's always days where that rhythm is majorly thrown off and I have breakdowns, but in general it's not significantly challenging other than the juggling act. I also say this as a mother of one with a partner who is home quite a bit--think my number would go way up if I had more than one, i can't even imagine. Being a mom comes really well to me, but we are constantly in this crazy flux this year, outside of LO. New job, new school, constantly changing work hours, horrible unexpected death and two moves! Ahh! We are trying to wade through this challenging year and get settled.
