As soon as we got to the inlaws he started throwing up. We left not too long after and took him to urgent care. Poor thing had the stomach flu. He still isn't 100% but at least the vomiting and diarrhea only lasted 24 hours. Of course I came down with it last night but luckily I was only really sick for about 12 hours. DH is making a turkey today since we didn't get to have any on Thursday. My kids are always sick during thanksgiving because we always travel home for the holiday. Between the flight, the cold weather, exposure to unfamiliar germs, they're always catching something. This year they both caught a stomach flu. We had a diarrhea/vomit filled week. We scrapped all plans for an out of town trip since DS came down with RSV. I have it as well. It's horrible! I took 2 days off work last week since he wasn't allowed at day care and am looking at another day off work Monday since he's still feverish! I hope your LO gets better soon. Hope he feels better soon!</p> <p>We've had a pretty good weekend. Thanksgiving was good, but busy. We did the turkey trot early in the morning, then brunch with tons of family and friends at my moms, then dinner at the in laws. Lots of eating! Somewhere there she picked up a cold.... but thank goodness it was only a cold and not a fever like your LO!</p> <p>Friday we went to go see the manatees and then to dinner at the sponge docks. </p> <p>Saturday was a football day- DH and my teams are rivals and they played. Thanksgiving day baby Squiggles woke up with a fever of about 100-101. The next night it spiked to 103 and was like that for two days. We're on day four and he still has a temp of 100-101. It's so miserable. He's been absolutely miserable and it's the first time I actually feel completely incompetent as a mother.</p> <p>We still did our family stuff this weekend and I kept him strapped to me the whole time so he did okay. He hardly slept at all though, even at home. Here's hoping his fever breaks sometime soon!</p> <p>How has your weekend been? </p>
