This has come up before and I've said it's just not possible with our childcare situation. The earliest I can drop LO off is 8 a.m., so I can no longer attend any work functions that begin at 8. DH leaves at 7:30 a.m. for work and that won't change.</p> <p>I also don't stay much later than I have to (though I will do some work at home if I need to) and I don't take lunch with my co-workers anymore (because I have to pump!)</p> <p>I feel bad that I can't attend these events anymore but there's nothing else I can do. Are there responsibilities you've had to give up or modify based on your new life as a parent? </p>
