At a couple months shy of 3 years, she's only 26 LBS so still very light and easy to carry. I would say I carry her about 75% of the time when we are out? She hates the stroller and hasn't agreed to be carried in the Ergo since she turned 1.5, so for long outings, we have no choice...

13 months and about 21 lbs at her last appointment but I know she has gotten heavier since then. Just in the past couple weeks I get tired of carrying her long distances or have to switch hips. She is a really solid, compact kid though so I think that adds to it.

DS is 2 and 31 pounds, he doesn't get carried a lot since he thinks he is a grown man now. I can probably do no more than a few blocks with him. DD is 8.5 months and almost 22 pounds, carrying her is a breeze since her brother was big too so I'm used to it.

my 2.5 year old is about 20kg (44lbs) and is 105cm tall (41 inches) Both my husband and I are over 6 foot tall, so she's a big one too, about the size of a 4 year old at the moment. Its pretty hard to grapple her when I need to, and picking her up is definitely a strain on my back. that being said, she's been quite independent lately.

DD is 2 and 25 lbs. DS is 8 months and 19 lbs. It's easier to carry DD though because she is calm and will hold onto you. DS squirms around a lot so even though he is lighter, it's way more tiring!

24.5 lbs at 2.5 years and 16 lbs at 6 months. I think the heavier one is easier to carry (when she wants to be) because she holds on. I can carry both (just over 40 lbs) at the same time when I really need to - ie to get the older one somewhere quickly or when everyone is really tired and we need to do stairs.

DD is 31 lbs at 2.5 and she feels heavier than DS...maybe because she's shorter and leans on me when I hold her.

DD2 is almost 13 lbs and she's obviously easy to carry but I do get tired if it's been a few hours!

She's just under 20 pounds at 21 months so she's still pretty easy to carry. Which is good because she recently decided that she doesn't like the stroller or riding in shopping carts and prefers a combination of walking and being carried.

My LO just turned 2 and is around 30 lbs. I'm 5 months pregnant and not supposed to carry anything over 25 lbs, but my daughter totally does not care! She always wants me to hold her. Especially if I'm carrying tons of other things, like when going through an airport with luggage and carryons. Whenever I look my most weighed-down and my hands are the most full, that is usually when a temper tantrum to be held ensues and results in her laying on the floor screaming until I put everything down, pick her up, and then try to also carry all of the things I was already dealing with. At home, I'd let her scream her face off on the floor, not playing into that. But in an airport with people walking all around her - or the PARKING LOT to the airport with cars everywhere, I have to still pick her up just to get her Terrible Two self out of the way. Toddlers :bummed:
