Since he hasn't mastered it, he won't say it unless he is ready. Today he said 1, 3, 4, 6, and 9 out of the blue. Oddly enough he knows the alphabet (minus 4 letters that he can't pronounce but still recognizes) at 23 months old. My son can count to 100 if I count with him slowly. But if he does it by himself, he sometimes skips from 49 to 60. and then 69 to 50. And at times, he counts to 100 without any mistakes. He's really into numbers though. He can also count backwards but gets 6's and 7's mixed up from time to time.
