But once we got comfortable with him in there, it got turned way down. It's just a tad higher than the lowest setting. His room is close and I could turn it off, but every once and a while I sleep super deep and don't wake right away when he's crying. It still picks up the background white noise all the time! I always hear that people sleep better after the transition because they aren't constantly hearing/checking on LO. Don't you still hear all the noises through the monitor though?
