Not sure where this comes from but it's true. I don't hesitate to honk if I can tell they aren't paying attention - but I always feel like such a jerk afterwards. But while I"m sitting there waiting I feel all sorts of rage. I try to "light" honk but it's hard to achieve.</p> <p>Also, if I'm sitting in the passenger seat - I cannot keep my mouth shut - I always blurt out "it's green" the second it turns green if I feel like the driver is lollygagging. I feel like people regularly take a second or two to get moving so 3 sounds pretty quick to me. I don't count, it just depends on the area/situation. If I had to guess maybe five seconds? Four?
