For newborn/infant walks it was great obviously.

But even once she was sitting up, its nice to have the recline if you want her to take a nap. She wont sleep sitting up.

We had to have it for newborn walks. He's getting inclined more now, but it was definitely necessary and will probably be necessary for naps in the future.

Meh, we've never needed it. When I recline the seat, the sun just gets into his eyes anyway. He didn't ride in the stroller without the infant seat until at least 6 months, since he couldn't sit up on his own.

We could live without it, but both kids nap way longer with it. I'm talking 3 hours!!! So recline us very important to us.

Essential! We have always lived in cities and don't have a car and LO goes everywhere in his stroller. If he's tired while we are out, I want to be able to recline him. When he was very small he was in a laying position and we gradually inclined him to sitting as he got older.

Not important. I've never adjusted my BOB's incline. A) because its hard and b) I'm lazy

My son sleeps MUCH longer when he's reclined in his stroller. So yeah, the recline feature is SUPER IMPORTANT for us! :)

We have a City Mini and love the recline feature. At the 4th of July parade we had M reclined and DH walked her around until she fell asleep and she took a great nap in the shade. She never would have napped upright with all the stimulation at 9 months.

I don't know that it's very important for us. She has only fallen asleep in the stroller a few times. The BOB is already reclined enough that we didn't have to recline it more. When we tried to recline the Britax she just woke up. She won't lie down in it if she's awake.

Super important!!!! We've used it since LO was a newborn with both our big pram and our umbrella pram. She's 12.5 months now and we still use it all the time when we want her to sleep. I just think babies look so uncomfortable sitting up - I love being able to recline LO. That being said, I don't think a flat back recline is necessary, but at least to the angle of a recliner chair or something where their heads aren't going to fall forward.

Depends on the age I was buying it for. I knew I wanted a stroller I could use without the car seat from very early, which meant I pretty much needed one with a lie flat feature. But I live in the city and walk way more often than I drive so I don't plan to use the car seat that often anyway.

If I already had a car seat and stroller base that was working and I wouldn't be using the stroller until baby was 6 months or older, I think I would care less.

That said, 1) LO isn't here yet (any time between now and Aug 13!) and 2) the stroller is the one item I can say I really splurged on.

I NEED the recline. Especially because sometimes we are out all day and it helps LO relax more/sleep longer if she's laying back.

Just wondering how important it is that your stroller has an adjustable recline feature. There are some strollers without that are cheaper, so just seeing what everyone's thoughts are! I don't know how DS will be in a stroller yet! He doesn't tend to sleep in his infant carseat/stroller.
