@looch: you are difficult to please!

The software only shows you five options at first. If you click to show more, then the full number shows up. Let me know if you have a preference for what that full number should be!

@mrbee: such a technical answer! A 20 option poll is a bit....much?

@looch: the poll software only allowed for nine options when I created this post. I have since raised that number to 20.

My husband helps with everything, he's the master of discipline, which you didn't include in your poll.

All he has to do is say the word and my son backs off of whatever he's not supposed to be touching. Me on the other hand, he looks and laughs at me.

@Rubies: We have the same situation, except DH works most weekends too. He has been spending more time with DS in the mornings before work as he gets older, which is nice. I don't even care that he doesn't help with DS, because well he can't with his work schedule, I just care that he doesn't get to spend a lot of time with him. It's sad that DH misses so much of DS's infancy due to work. I often say "I feel like a single mom who happens to be married", so you are not alone in thinking that.

He's very involved. He doesn't wake up during the night with her but if he wakes up in the morning and I feel like I need a bit more sleep because I was up then he'll take her and get breakfast made for us. He also makes sure to have evening play time with her most days and often is the one to sing her to sleep.

He's very involved. If LO wakes up in the middle of the night (which is rare) he gets her. He'll usually get her in the morning when she gets up and changes her and gives her a bottle to let me sleep more. Then when he comes home from work he'll take her for a little bit to give me a break. We'll feed her together, eat dinner, and he helps me with bath and bedtime. Plus there are many times when I'm not feeling well so he has to have her for the day.

@pelikila: You are not alone! DH does a ton for my son too. He has nighttime wake up duty most nights (he can get back to sleep easily- I can't), he does drop off or pickup every day (sometimes both), feeds DS breakfast or dinner (sometimes both), and is the default person to stay home if DS is sick.
A lot of this is due to the fact that his job hours are more flexible, and I have a longer commute, so it's not like I'm hanging out watching the Kardashians while DH changes a poopy diaper.

Dh travels, but when he's home he wakes with her sometimes, feeds her breakfast, takes her on dates to Starbucks, gives her baths and plays with her.

I'm pretty lucky with my DH, even though I get a bit fustrated at night since I'm the one that gets up with LO, but other than that DH is very helpful. If she wakes up when hes awake in the morning before work (between 530-645) he will feed her/change her. and at night we take turns with bathing, feeding and putting her to bed while the other one makes dinner and cleans up. On the weekends DH and I spend equal time with LO.

I am incredibly blessed to have a very involved husband. Since 6 months of age my husband has taken over all nightime duties and is the one to get him dressed and ready in the morning. I usually do all daycare drop-offs/pick-ups as well as the majority of doctor's appointments but anytime my son is sick my husband is usually the one to stay home with him. My husband feeds my son more than half of his meals (evenings and weekends) as well as makes most of his meals. He does the majority of baths and diaper changes too. I sound really lazy typing all of this up.

DH can't help during the week due to his long work hours but on the weekends he does a lot, which is great.

Soooooo...My husband, unfortunately, doesn't/can't help out as much as he/I would like. LO wakes up just as he's leaving for work and is in bed before he comes home. That leaves me to do everything- I feel like a single mom sometimes. If anything, my husband wakes up with me for the night feed just to see LO. The weekends are better with his help but I do all the feedings (breastfeeding) and bathing.

I was curious how much everyone's SO helps out with little ones... so thought I'd create a quick poll.

You can vote as many times as you'd like. The poll is a pretty crude tool to measure SO involvement, so please also weigh in in the comments!
