I did most of the groundwork/research and the diy projects, but he came to almost all of the meetings with vendors, and had strong opinions about a lot of the details (like, he even had stronger opinions about my dress than I expected!). He had super strong opinions about people coming who we didn't know (family friends). He cared about venue and food, and he went with me on all the scouting trips for that stuff. Once venue was booked and menu was chosen, his primary job was music. We had an iPod reception and he put a ton of work into researching how to make good party playlists and picking our favorite songs and ordering them just right.
