@PeaceLily: I ordered them! They were under $6 so I figure it can't hurt. The reviews online aren't great, but for the price I'll probably just deal with it unless it really falls apart that quickly...

@MamaG: Ugh that's annoying! I'd def try just b/c you can't even wear it anymore

I've been wondering as well. I bought boots for the big kid, after one wearing she has no "suede" left on the toes and I'm certain with one more wearing there will be a hole. We've bought these same style boots previously without this problem. I hate to return stuff we've clearly worn, but I can't really deal with boots at $20 only lasting one wear.

Not sure if you ordered them already, but I actually worked at The Children's Place all through college. We used to take everything back from customers, but I think it depends on the store manager. Technically the clothes shouldn't be worn already, but missing tags was not a big deal. I took everything back when I worked at the cash register cause I could care less and it wasn't worth the argument. I remember one woman returned a shirt that had clearly been worn many times, had no tag, and had orange juice stains all over it.

From what I remember (this was 6 years ago) the fleece lined tights were popular with customers and I don't remember complaints about them.

I haven't returned anything to them, but overall have been ok with the quality there. It's so cheap that I have very low expectations. So why not just order one pair and see what you think? They always have a promo for free shipping and 50% off or similar. Also- most of their tights have grippy bottoms which I love.

I want to order these fleece line tights for DD... A lot of reviews say they start pilling, catching and running even as they're worn for the first time. I want to be able to return even if it's been opened/worn if it's going to be like that, since they won't last the whole winter!

Then I'd just go back and get Carter ones! I just wanted to try theirs out b/c they have more solid/dark colors.
