I bought boots for the big kid, after one wearing she has no "suede" left on the toes and I'm certain with one more wearing there will be a hole. We've bought these same style boots previously without this problem. We used to take everything back from customers, but I think it depends on the store manager. Technically the clothes shouldn't be worn already, but missing tags was not a big deal. I took everything back when I worked at the cash register cause I could care less and it wasn't worth the argument. It's so cheap that I have very low expectations. So why not just order one pair and see what you think? They always have a promo for free shipping and 50% off or similar. A lot of reviews say they start pilling, catching and running even as they're worn for the first time. I want to be able to return even if it's been opened/worn if it's going to be like that, since they won't last the whole winter! </p> <p>Then I'd just go back and get Carter ones! I just wanted to try theirs out b/c they have more solid/dark colors. </p>
