We have a 4 drawer PB Kids dresser.

Top left - socks and diapers. We used to keep burp cloths here too.
Top Right - nose frida, extra pacifiers, medicines, paci clips, etc.
Middle - white onesies (current size only - used to have current and future split out), PJs, sheets, changing table covers
Botton - blankets, quilts, mattress protector

Mostly I hang everything in his closet. I split it between current size and future sizes. Shirts and outfits get hung up, pants get folded and put on a shelf.

@LindsayInNY: I just keep her current size in her dresser. Since she didn't have too much newborn size, I put all newborn size in a drawer (which is the pic I posted). Then 0-3 months in the bottom two drawers. As she grew out of newborn, I moved up the 3 month sized stuff. I store future sizes in a tote in the garage or in bins in her closet. I like having everything separated by size then by type of clothing item.

We use the closet, dresser, and the Ikea Skubb boxes. We have the 8-drawer hemnes dresser (which we use as a changing table). LO is 5 months old. I still have most things organized by size.

Small top drawers: 1) diapers and wipes, 2) sleep sacks and swaddles, 3) socks and hats, 4) bibs, burp cloths, pacifiers, etc.

Middle left drawer: newborn & 0-3 month clothes (in denial and haven't put these in storage yet)
Middle right drawer: 3-6 month clothes (onesies, pants, shirts). pants are folded in half and go in smaller skubb boxes, like the ones on the right of @MrsKC's photo. I have two of those, then two of the larger ones: one for long sleeved onesies and one for short sleeved onesies, sweaters, and shirts.
Bottom left drawer: 6-12 month clothes (similar organization as 3-6)
Bottom right drawer: 12+ month clothes

Closet: any one-piece outfits (rompers, jon jons, longalls, etc.), all of his sleepers, jackets, sweatshirts, etc. Everything is organized by size (I got those size organizer things off etsy).

His dresser has three small drawers on the top. They have soft pants in one, socks in another, and bathing suits in the last one.

Then there are two bigger, wide drawers below that which are completely filled with cloth diapers.

@LindsayInNY: I love the Ikea Skubb boxes for organizing baby clothes. Here's a pic of her dresser after I had the nursery complete. I like folding them vertical so I can see everything.

I also liked things folded sideways so I could see all the options. I used the fabric IKEA dividers in the early days, but by 9 months or a year the clothes didn't fit so neatly in those. Then I just stacked in piles of like items - SS onesies, LS onesies, pants, tops, etc. socks and hair bands I kept in the divider bins.

In a six drawer dresser, generally the top two were her current size, the middle were specialty clothes (swimsuits, costumes) and bankers/burp cloths/swaddles, and the bottom two were her next size up and diaper storage. Nice clothes hung in the closet.

We use both the closet and a dresser.

For ds1, shirts and jackets are hung in the closet; socks, shoes, and accessories go in the top drawer (in little plastic organizers), pajamas in the second drawer, and pants in the third drawer.

For the twins, we have almost all of their clothes hanging in the closet (by type and size). As far as the dresser, once again socks, mittens and such are in the top drawers, some basic onesies and pants are in the middle drawers and clothes in future sizes are in the bottom drawers. With the twins we actually have a 9-drawer dresser and put the changing table on top of it, so we put some of the diapers and diaper-changing items in the middle drawers.
