My dad on the other hand...dh strongly dislikes him due to some drama that happens this summer over LO. He would be happy to never see my dad again. They all like him. My brother and my hubs text almost every day, which is a bit weird (especially since my brother and I aren't really all that close). We don't spend as much time with my family as we do with his though, so I don't think he is really all that comfortable with them even though we've been together for 7 years.... My family is very loud, okay my brothers family is very loud. The kids are a little crazy sometimes but its my brother and SIL that give us the headaches. He's a lot quieter than we are so I think it took my parents some time to get used to that. But now they know that's just his personality and has nothing to do with being around them so they don't even notice it any more. He doesn't speak English very well, and my parents not exactly the warmest people. We are going to visit in two weeks, and staying for a total of three, so hopefully he warms up to them a lot more.
