Yeahhhh. Not pretty, but I'm getting used to it. The skin itself is tight, but I'm covered with stretch marks that still aren't fading, and I have a huuuge pooch. I could care less about my stretch marks, but I'm dying to get my tummy fixed :( It keeps everything from fitting right, and no amount of working out is going to tighten it up. Not gonna happen though, DH is totally against it.

After number one my belly was 2/3 covered in stretch marks with saggy skin that I doubt will ever go back (my mom and great aunt have the same belly so maybe it's hereditary?). I'm pregnant with #2 now and assume it will just get worse. I don't plan to ever have a tummy tuck and do plan to have more kids so I'm sure it will look a lot worse before everything is said and done.

Same as you - after #1 it went right back - I was in a bikini again the next year!

After number 2 my bikini days are gone! I am slender when wearing clothes but my stomach looks awful when naked!

I'm almost 4 weeks pp and the skin looks pretty normal aside from a bunch of stretch marks on my lower belly (under my belly button). I still have some pudge, though.

@Greentea: Right now I am liking a set I got from Costco called Flexees (by Maidenform)... can't find them on amazon but they're similar to these:

http://amzn.to/1iqahQP

I like to keep it simple.. just fits over my underwear, holds in my tummy and muffintop, and doesn't roll down. (usually!! roll down is my biggest problem!) I've had things that have more coverage but I find that the more fabric there is, the less likely I am to wear it. Also, the crotch is all cotton which is great for breathability. Would probably cause some problems with VPL but I don't really care (or wear pants/skirts that would cause VPL).

Even though I know this reality, this is kind of depressing me. After my 1st I got a few light stretch marks around my belly button and the skin definitely lost elasticity. I also didn't do much to fix it. Now I'm pregnant with #2 and totally scared about what it will look like after! I don't think it will be back to what it was even if I worked out.

5 months pp with my first and it's pretty close to how it was prepreg (which is to say, not super tight and firm to begin with). My ab muscles are still way weaker, given that I haven't done any exercises for them in a year, but the skin itself is fine. I never got stretch marks on my belly, only my boobs.

My mom had five kids and her belly had the slightly crepey look you mention, plus her belly button kind of looked like a flower. :)

@autumnlove: so awful... I totally understand tummy tucks now! I keep stretching the skin downward to see what it would look like... and picturing where my new belly button would go... lol. But I don't think I could ever face going under the knife for a tummy tuck!! I'd rather wear shapewear.

almost 18 months post second baby and it's tighter than before, but very saggy, leathery, and stretch mark -y. Sorry for the bleak report :( but I expected it because my mom was always thin but always had a saggy belly. It's fine with me since I never wear bikinis, and I'm used to regularly wearing shapewear!
