So I bought 2 car seat toys for DD, both are like tied to the packaging and I have to rip them out in order to try them both on the car seat.. So I will be able to return one of them even tho it's "opened"?

A kindle fire that DH won and we didn't need is also the only thing that we've had trouble returning! Plus once I tried to return something we had for 6 months and didn't open, but that's a ridiculous time frame, hah.

Man - you guys are lucky. We've had the opposite experience. We have a completely unopened Kindle Fire that we bought from Amazon and they wouldn't take it back because we were outside the return limit (however many days they say you have).

@Chocoholic: good to know, thanks! It came up under my crib sheet search, so I think that counts as not as described...even though it's called a cradle sheet...bah it's my fault I know.

I usually say its defective or not as described. This time I said I ordered the wrong item and noticed my credit was less the shipping charges. It was taken care of with a phone call. Good luck!

Amazon is awesome, they never ask any questions and even return our money to our card immediately and give us like 30 days to mail the item back.

very lenient! As @boogs said, they have told me to just keep things in the past.

Sometimes they will just give you a refund and tell you to keep the items, so you might get stuck with them in the end. They've always been amazing with returns.

I recently returned a sippy cup and refillable pouches. Both washed and put back in package. I was refunded no problem. Just have to be careful with reason for return or they will deduct shipping. I called and they were able to refund the shipping.

I feel like a dummy. I just bought and washed 2 waterproof cradle sheets for our crib and they obviously are way too small! Is that something they might take back or am I stuck with them? I wish I had checked before washing. Still have the packages. Anyone have similar experience with a return?
