Well it's good to know there's probably a few months. She's been trying for a bit to pull herself up but pretty much failing miserably so I didn't think it would happen anytime soon. Then *bam* she pulls herself up in her crib while I'm folding clothes, barely took her any time.

My LO is also at the same stage. One morning I woke up to check up on him in his room, and there he was standing in his crib. It was a scary moment for me, as it came all of a sudden. Now he will not stop pulling himself, and it is more entertaining than playing with his toys. I don't think I"m ready for him to start walking quite yet. He is 8.5 months old.

RJ didn't crawl til about 8 months, and he started pulling to standing almost immediately after that. Then he did not walk until 14 months. Haha.

My LO isn't walking yet, but my niece started cruising at around 7-8 months. She started taking her first steps about 2 weeks shy of her 1st birthday. She turns one on Sunday and I'm pretty sure she's full out walking now.

My LO just turned 7 months and she's been obsessed with having us walk her around the house for the past month. She's also been trying to pull herself up on stuff and finally did it successfully today and then stood and squeaked at us for a couple minutes in her excitement.
Now all she wants to do is try to pull her self up and stand and have us walk her but it seems really young, she barely even crawls forward yet.
