Maybe about 15-20 minutes when he wakes up - he's about a week shy of hitting 5 months and currently still sleeps in a cosleeper next to me - so I just pull him into bed to nurse and he and I usually doze off before too long.

Between feeding, diaper change(s) and burping we are up for about an hour. LO is 19 days old and usually wakes twice a night. I cannot wait until she goes to one wake up! Or STTN. I'll take that ;-)

Usually 20 min. She eats, then passes out before she finishes the whole bottle. I've been cutting back on how much she gets, now that she's getting bigger, with hopes of stretching it out to about 6am. Only a handful of times has she woken up and been AWAKE like a crazy pants

We co-bed and I never do diaper changes at night. From wake-up to falling back to sleep, maybe 20 minutes. He usually gets up twice. He's a very sleepy eater at night and I don't try to keep him awake. I think he's close to dropping one of those. He's STTN a few times but nothing consistent.

@hergreenapples: haha, different definitions maybe, but that's our exact schedule! Hence me being on the boards @ 6am ;) @pastemoo: dream feeds are the best thing ever! Every once in a while I can time them perfectly and she sleeps for so long!
@Smurfette: that's the key I think. I have to rock her until she's mostly asleep before I put her in the crib.

10-15 mins. It use to take 45 mins cause I would have to wait for her to fall asleep and then be asleep for 10 mins before I could put her down. Now she is drowsy and will go to sleep on her own.

@MrsRoo: As a newborn he was up for 2 hours. Once he started doing more "dream feeds" it was 1 hour+ with feed and diaper change.
Now that he is STTN (8 hours, then up at 4, 4 45, 5 30 and finally 6 15) they are each 10 solid minutes of nursing and then he pushes to go back into the crib. He is 13 months now.
He has been doing the quick night wakeup of 15 minutes from probably 3 months to now.

Definitely a solid hour from picking her up to putting her back in the pack n play. That's usually 10-15mins a side, a diaper change, reswaddle, and burping/couple mins of cuddling. we are still figuring out this newborn thing, so sometimes we accidentally wake her up too much, and then it takes longer. She's 10 days old :)

@MrsRoo: I think maybe we just have different definitions of STTN! I would consider an 8 to 9 hour stretch to be STTN! I'm guessing maybe your LO goes down for the night earlier than DD. we put her down at 9:30 and her typical routine is to sleep through until 5:30. After that I feed her and put her back down and she'll usually sleep until 9-ish. I consider the 9:30 to 5:30 stretch to be STTN.

It he has a wakeup it's only one and its only for a little food lol. I FF but tonight it was 11 minutes from the time I got up to back in bed. Unfortunately now I can't get back to sleep :(

When E was little though wakeups for me were also at least an hour- longer when I had to pump. It was miserable!

@autumnlove: nursing and pumping in an hour? That's impressive.
@hergreenapples: what?! I think our LOs are the same age. How is yours STTN? I'm getting a 8-9 hour stretch, 1 wake up, then another few hours.
@rahlyrah: :( 3 hours is no fun!

DD has generally STTN for awhile now, but twice this week she woke up at 4. It's usually about an hour....she's definitely not a fast eater.

If your LO still wakes up during the night to feed, how long are you usually awake?

My typically efficient eater takes forever to nurse overnight and is super gassy, so it's usually a solid hour for me from wakeup til I'm lying back in bed.
