Visits were usually 45 min to an hour. Check in, pee in a cup, wait for the nurse, then weighs me and takes blood pressure, then off to another waiting room for the doctor. She listens to the heartbeat, measures me and asnswers any questions. Then I schedule my next appointment before I leave. If I have to get blood done that takes longer, cause for some reason those ladies are super slow. </p> <p>I make my appointments as close to first thing in the morning as I can. The first time I went to this doc was for my annual last year, and right after they stuck me in an exam room he popped in, said "I have to run across the street to deliver a baby but I'll be right back b/c it's her 4th kid and will be quick! My longest one was at 24 weeks with the glucose test and getting checked for multiple infections at the time. First I pee in a cup and the nurse does weight and bp, then I join DH in the exam room. Doc comes in, we say hi, he answers any questions we have, he and DH talk about football while I sit on the table, we hear the heartbeat and then say goodbye.
