When does your LO usually get up in the morning? </p> <p>Thanks for the feedback everyone-I just want to make sure how long he goes without eating is not unreasonable. She stopped nursing at 14 months... Sometimes after dinner she has a little fruit and before we head up to bed we let her drink her milk from her straw cup. He's 17 months old now but our schedule has been similar for several months. I don't remember how old he was when he dropped to 3 bottles a day (8oz each), but when he did we gave him bottles with his meals. Now, he get's a sippy cup of cow's milk with each meal. We don't give him more than 3 cups of milk a day and we rarely give him a snack after dinner. I am going to start the weaning process soon too! DS turns 1 in a month and we will start slowly cutting back on feelings, leaving bedtime and morning as the last ones and I am not sure how long we will leave those. We eat around 5:30 and bedtime is at 8 (he's usually falling asleep in his crib at this time ) so he nurses at 7:45 and I have felt good about finally finally night weaning him so that he wouldn't wake at 5 for a feed. But...when I get to te point where I drop the bedtime feed is it reasonable to expect him to go all the way til breakfast the next day? Offer bedtime milk? A healthy dessert? What do you ladies do? </p>
