I had a routine vaginal delivery. My midwife had recommended trying not to lift her up from the floor to up high- like have her stand on the bed for me to lift her over to the changing table, for a few days, but it wasn't a big deal. I tried to limit it in the very beginning but wasn't strict. This time with DS they didn't say anything specific, but I'm going to have a hard time not lifting DD (29 lbs) once DH goes back to work next week! </p>
