@Mrs. Taco: I guess it could be. Mine came from a virus I caught from my LO. My husband got the same virus but his turned into an ear infection.

@lawbee11: Yup...ears were clear on Thursday. Just took her temp again, 101.7, I tried giving her a bath, her favorite thing and she was miserable. I'm just so sad for her :sad:

@avivoca: Thank you! My husband said her symptoms are like his when he has a SI, is that even possible for a 9 mth old?

@lawbee11: @Dandelion: No, it's been all over the place. Last night it was all but gone (99) so we thought she was on the mend. A few hours later, it was back to 103.

@mamamagpie: Thank you! :heart:

Poor sweet girl! I have no experience or advice but big hugs! It sounds like you're doing everything you possibly can and just keep checking in the the doctor if you feel like you should.

On Wednesday morning daycare called because R was running a fever of 100.9, (isn't crazy high but after two ER trips for allergies, they wanted to be on the safe side and send her home), by Thursday morning, it had gotten as high as 104.

We took her to the Dr and they said it was a virus (tested negative for the flu) that needed to run it's course. We've been alternating Tylenol and Motrin ever since and here we are 4 days later with no improvement. Poor girl can barely keep her eyes open yet can't fall asleep because she is so congested. We've tried everything to help comfort her (nose-frida, steam in bathroom...even broke the swing out of retirement!) but she just isn't getting any better.

I spoke to the Dr yesterday and she said the same thing that "it just takes time"....but really?!?! How long can this last? What is the longest your LO has ever had a fever and/or virus?

I just want my baby girl to get better...we've had such a rough few weeks, first with severe allergies and now with this demon virus. Gah.
