That was 3 hrs straight save maybe one 10 minute break when I ate quickly, took her out of my carrier and put her in my lap. This was with the Beco Gemini, front-facing in. Oh and when it did start to hurt, I loosened the straps a bit and felt better. I do love both the Gemini and the Ergo. I haven't carried him long enough to get back pain. Most of the time I'm not carrying him for more than 2-3 hours at a time for our longer walks and mall trips. I love the boba.
