Probably 3 months. We always stock up on spam, canned soup, instant noodles, and dried seaweed.

Decent, lovely meals? About 10 days. We could probably go another week of boring meals (like pasta with a plain tomato sauce).

3-4 weeks maybe? We don't keep much extra food on hand because of the lack of space.

@mrs. tictactoe: my dad is obsessed with having tons of food. Every year he buys over half a cow and it takes them nearly a year to go through it! He has his own chickens - both egg layers and meat chicken. He cans a ton and he could easily get my family through 6+ months on what he has!

My husband is kind of obsessed with having an emergency supply of food, so we could probably last a while. Maybe a month or two? We have a lot of canned stuff. Our fridge and freezer isn't totally full, though.

For decent meals, we have enough meat, dried goods, and carbs to get through 2 months I'd say. We have enough frozen veg for probably 2-3 weeks. Fruit is the biggest problem - we almost always eat fresh.

Maybe a couple weeks? MIL likes to send us food in bulk that she cooks to be kept in the freezer. We have a few pantry things, but that's about it! Our menu would be limited though; and DH doesn't do well with leftovers...

Decent meals maybe 1.5-2 weeks. Stay alive? We could probably make it a month. We don't keep a ton in the house and that staying alive bit would mean lots of crappy bread since we have a decent amount of flour.

@IRunForFun: Same here. We could ration and survive for a while! Probably close to 2 months. I'd likely have to give up being a vegetarian though...

Probablya month? DH just caught like 7 fish today so if we kept them all ourselves we can def eat that for like 2 weeks straight, but it'd get very boring... :silly:

Survive, like, eat the bare minimum and be really hungry, but still be physically alive? I'm sure we could manage 1.5 to 2 months.

To have actual, decent amounts to eat and be functioning? Maybe 2.5 weeks?

Probably about a month. I try to force myself to eat some of the items in the freezer and pantry every now and then by not going to the supermarket, otherwise they just sit there forever.

We could probably live off the food we have for a good 35 days, meaning we are eating every canned or boxed food we have. Some things would be hard to eat without milk or some fresh produce though, but still doable.
