LO has been walking for about a month and a half and still falls a lot, especially when he gets going too fast. He gets better all the time though.

@Maysprout: yeah! That was not how I thought it would be at all based on what my friends with older kids told me so maybe it is usually a slower process.

@Andrea: Wow, 0 to 60.
That's def not how my LO is going. She's expanding her horizons slowly. She likes to pick her toys up off the floor so that's usually when she ends up walking instead of cruising, when her hands are too full to hold onto anything.

My LO just picked up and started walking one day. She never crawled again and never fell down either. I think it is because she really ready to walk a lot earlier and was just very scared to let go of things. So when she finally got over that fear, she was just ready to be a walker.

Baby just started walking more and more. She usually takes about 5-10 steps in a row before she plops back down and still is a bit hesitant and much prefers crawling. Im happy to not have her walking around too much but wondering how long it takes before they favor walking over crawling.
