I transitioned slower due to the constipation aspect of it. She loved it cold and couldn't get enough. I was so relieved he didn't seem to notice.<br /> I'm not sure if it contributed, but he had been refusing bottles since 9months, so he was drinking his formula out of a cup since then.... we'll see what happens with #2! :)</p> <p>I hear you, though, formula is SO EXPENSIVE!! Then at 11.5 months she stopped drinking her afternoon bottles. She was so so with her night bottle but usually took her morning one. Then 3 days after her bday we just gave her breakfast after waking. Cold turkey. She took a couple weeks to get milk with meals and water the rest of the day. We switched to a sippy from a straw cup and she started drinking MUCH better. </p> <p>Now she will down milk like it is going out of style. She will now drink it straight, but only a couple oz at a time. We started off mixing 75formula/25wcm, then 50/50, and now we are on 25/75. We will run out of formula this week, so hopefully she's ready! </p> <p>Oh, and she doesn't like it out of a sippy... still bottles. We've done the whole mix it half and half with formula thing, and he's NOT having it. He will occasionally allow us to mix it 1/3 WCM and 2/3 formula but even then will sometimes pick up on it.</p> <p>He's obsessed with drinking out of his straw cup or adult glass cups so we've tried both and he still refuses. The little stinker will watch me pour the milk out of his straw cup and fill it with fresh water and will happily run over to take his water cup from me - he's just so obstinate about WCM! ;) </p> <p>Anyway - we need to get him off of formula both for budget and simplicity's sake! Does anyone have tips? Was anyone else's child a hard sell for WCM? </p>
