I have BCBS and I called them and they told me to call Medela directly. It took several tries to get through to a person, but then they were very helpful about the options and what I needed to do. I was not able to get mine until I could show proof of a live birth. So - I had contacted the medical supply company I was instructed to contact and got the information on availability (they were still very backed up from the change in this law when I had DD). I called after I was home from the hospital and they put it on order.
