DD is also easy at bedtime. She says good night, gives me a kiss, and runs to her bed. Man, hope that never changes!

Omg, it took 2 minutes! I set her in the crib, she rubbed her eyes, made one waaaah sound and fell asleep!!! We had some standing in the crib drama last night and I expected the same but I got lucky tonight! :-)

DD was tougher than DS tonite. At age 4 She still has to have someone lie down next to her until she falls asleep (today it was 10 min) And we spent 30 min searching for her 2 loveys. They were hidden in a basket and of course she could not remember she had done that. DS was placed in the crib, cried for 15 sec and konked out.

Wonder Baby took about an hour, with half that being a crying pick up put down mess. But that's par for the course this week. Toddler Girl was half and hour, but I just put her down, so fingers crossed that she falls asleep quickly.

@mrs. wagon: omg- isn't that a crazy feeling when you don't know when they are going to wake up if they are going to wake up and what you should do!?

E went down pretty quickly today, short bath, nursed for 10 mins then put her down with her 'fishies' she was out in 10 mins after that. She's become such a good sleeper, I hope that doesn't ever change!!

My oldest promised to behave to get a book tonight. He was in time out right before his bath for having multiple meltdowns during dinner. He just takes way too long to eat. But he was good and went down without incident.

I'm current nursing the second right now. Almost done. He usually goes down without a fight. Nap times are different though.

@mrs. wagon: Omg, my oldest does that all the time! Asks for more water and stalls! Drives my husband batty as he puts him down.

She's only five days old so it's very easy - quick cuddle and she's out. Now waking her up again - that's a whole other story!!!

Lo is sooooo easy at bedtime! I feel very very lucky.

We do bath, put her pj's on, give her a sippy of milk and she normally just wants a few sips, brush her teeth, and put her in the crib. Done!

It was pretty quick-- he did throw one tantrum about "a little more water" (he's learned how to delay bedtime) after we already gave him some. After a firm "what did daddy say???" he quieted down and went down pretty smoothly after that.

As for LMW, she went down for her last nap at 4:45pm very easily (fell asleep drinking her bottle) and is still asleep...!!! I'm sitting her all nervous and tense!!!

It only took about 20-25 minutes. Bedtime is very easy for us and he goes down without a fight. But he wakes up about 3x in the middle of the night (6.5 months) and naps are a whole different story.

It took about 2 hours tonight... Charlie was going to go down pretty quickly, but just as he was about to fall asleep he had to pee. Then I got him ready again, and he had to poop. Then I washed him off and got him ready again, and he finally went down.

I miss the days that bed time felt more predictable! But at the same time, bedtime has really improved in the past few weeks (less tantrums, etc.) and so I am grateful for that.

I guess I have to be grateful for what I have, rather than wishing I had it all! Ah, the dream: a toddler that doesn't throw tantrums, gives his parents a sweet goodnight kiss and then goes down to sleep quickly and easily. This is totally possible to achieve consistently, right? Right??

How long did it take to put down your LO tonight? How is bedtime going in general these days?
