We had random boxes of stuff sitting in the now nursery for at least a month and a half after we moved in. Bedroom and living room and kitchen were mainly unpacked by a week later I think. But as pp said, I'm type a and I was not as pregnant as you/we are now! Phew. Still wiped out, haha. The house needed a lot of attention, so the moving-in process has been pretty slow. We painted/deep cleaned/repaired all of last week, moved our stuff with the help of some friends on Saturday, and are still unpacking some of the boxes. </p> <p>DH is painting his office, so many of the homeless objects will be put away tomorrow. I don’t know how we’ve acquired so much stuff already!!! It was definitely good motivation to keep things as simple as possible in the future.</p> <p>We moved all of our stuff over on Saturday (into the garage) and steadily unpacked Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (I took the days off and had my sister, MIL and friend over to help while DH was at work). There’s only one more room left to organize and we put it off until last because it’s the guest room/office and not somewhere that everyone sees when they walk in the door. We still have some boxes in the garage but nothing pressing. </p> <p>How long did it take you to get unpacked/settled in a new house? </p>
