My friend had a surprise 3rd and bought it all. We aren't done BUT we are planning on moving before baby #3, so we needed to get rid of it for storage reasons. I told her to let me know before she gets rid of it to see if I want to just buy it back (so ridiculous ha but we decide don a 99% sure #3 after we sold it, at the time we were just a maybe so I was like I'm done storing this and she needs/wants it.)

Immediately!!

I have a friend who's son is 4 months younger than Logan, so as soon as he grows out of clothes, I give them to her. With baby gear, we got rid of a bunch recently to a friend who's due soon. Although I still have the baby tub... I need to just toss it because it's broken!

Our last baby (#2) is 9 weeks old. I'm a little torn about getting rid of things. I would like us to explore being foster parents when our girls are older so it would be nice to keep some things (and we have a large basement so we can).

On the other hand, it feels so good to give away things! DH wants to give things to goodwill as baby outgrows them but it might be nice to save them in case our one local friend decides to have another baby since we have passed things back and forth.

We just had our second (and last) baby seven weeks ago, I fully intend to sell or donate all baby stuff as soon as he outgrows it.

Not done yet, but I imagine that we'll be hanging onto stuff for a while. We're the first of our friends, and first of our siblings to have kids, so we'll keep stuff to pass along. I also think I'll have a hard time letting go, as we're likely to have less kids than my ideal.

Pretty much the second we don't need something, I list it for sale or give it away if I know someone who can use it. Our apartment isn't huge and I love getting rid of things.

I have younger sisters, including ine who will be ttc really soon, so I'm sending everything her way! We are 98% sure we are done but it's nice that we could get it back if we change our minds. We live in a condo with very little storage so not hanging on to things!

I'm really torn about this atm... We were one and done before I got pg. I then had a terrible pregnancy, horrible labour and really rough recovery which only solidified my position. She's a sweet kid and fairly easy to look after but I'm 98% sure she will be it for us. She's 6 months and out of the bassinet, swing seat and baby bath. I've listed them for sale online but still have this uncertainty of getting rid of them. Crazy really. So, in a round about way, the answer to your question is not long at all, as soon as she outgrew it.

Once we decided we were done having kids, right when LO outgrew things we go rid of them. We had space to store some stuff but the big bulky things like the swing, infant car seat, bouncy, jumperoo etc just got in the way. It was a little sad seeing it go, but I knew there was no point in keeping it. We do still have the highchair although LO sits at a booster at the table now, but I think high chairs are nice to have around....especially since we have friends with LO's and it's not in the way. We are keeping some baby toys that are classics, for future grandkids!
