At first we were NTNP then when I realized I wasn't even ovulating we starting seeing a fertility doctor who tested us for months before finally starting us on clomid. The first cycle was cancelled due to hurricane sandy and teh second cycle on a higher dosage worked! But of 6 cycles, the first one I didn't really consider a "cycle" because it was more like withdrawal bleeding, and the second one, I tried to time it correctly but we didn't end up DTD at the right time. Everything was also all over the place because I had recently stopped BC. Then in February we put trying on hiatus because I found out that an STD plan was going to become available to me at work effective April. We had previously planned to dig into savings during my maternity leave, but knowing we would have at least part of it paid for if we waited was kind of a no-brainer. The first cycle after the STD plan kicked in we REALLY tried, and we got pregnant. I consider us very fortunate and I'm quite grateful.
