We've been dealing with this pretty much consistently since 12 months. Almost 18months now and she won't even interact with people in our family unless she sees them on a daily basis. She's very much mommy and daddy or specific people.

I found it comes and goes. It was minor for us for maybe a month around that age I guess but hit hard again around 16 months. Got worse until 18 months and is maaaaaybe getting a little better now.

We've seen hints of separation anxiety since our LO turned 8 months, but now at 9 months it's full blown. He has to be attached - literally - to one of us, or have us in sight. We tried leaving him in the gym daycare (it's the same ladies every time we go) and he lasted 10 minutes before screaming his head off. We can only get him to stay with my mom for any period of time if we bribe him with Puffs and sneak out the door.

While I'm not minding the extra snuggles he's been giving me lately, I am very curious how long this phase lasted for you and your LO? And any tips on how to help him during this phase are much appreciated too!
