I'll have a bunch in the afternoon and evening and then they just disappear overnight, sometimes for days afterwards. I was at work, feeling a little crampy, nothing major. They got worse after work, then I went into active labor. (I'm 36w5d today) At first it wasn't necessarily every day but now it's every nights and sometimes during the day. They don't come and go they just are there for, I dunno, 5 minutes? Maybe less?</p> <p>Anyway, I looked through old posts and saw that a bunch of HBers listed these cramps as what they felt before labor. I'm curious, how long (days/weeks) did you have these cramps before you went into early labor?</p> <p>p.s. Told my midwife about it all and she just said, "Yep, your body is getting ready to have a baby!" But with no worry about timeline or anything. Ack! </p>
