But with the newborn I'm not eating very much (seems like I never have time, plus had a serious decrease in appetite after baby). Sad to say, I still have the occasional discomfort at almost 9 months, while I didn't have any all throughout pregnancy. Part of that was fear/paranoia, but I used them forever. I had a lot of stomach problems post partum (I also have stomach problems with my period, so I think my stomach just goes berserk with hormones) and the stool softeners kept me somewhat comfortable and normal. I can't remember what I did last time. So far at 1 week post partum I thankfully haven't had any issues, but I've been taking it twice a day. No strong painkillers, just Motrin. I'm a little afraid to stop it even though I haven't had any issues!</p> <p>Ha- I'll see all the happy Christmas Eve posts and raise a poop one. :silly: </p>
