I purchased a travel nursing pillow and kept it in the car all the time. We were out and about, feeding her in public, within a week of giving birth, and I had no issues with feeding her without it. It just became part of our routine and she goes and gets it if she wants to nurse. I feel like even though we don't need it for positioning it helps keep a wiggly toddler in place. I'm the opposite in that I hate using the Boppy. I find it unwieldy, and it gets in the way!
