Otherwise, I'm in front. I take her out so often by myself that she's used to being back there by herself. We also have a mirror on the backseat so we can see her from the front seat. We did a 20 hour one way (split into two days) road trip with her at 8/9 weeks and I didn't sit in the back at all. She was tiny so I worried about the way that she slumped over in the car seat. But now I take her out by myself and she's just fine so when we are all together I sit in the front. After that I had to start driving places alone with her (well, didn't *have* to but wanted to), so I started sitting in the front again when we were all out together too.
