@SerenaSF: I stayed on it until 26 weeks. No supply issues for me - that should really only come into play while actually breastfeeding. I wouldn't take unisom now (I'm still nursing my 6 month old) but I didn't have any problem taking it while pregnant.

I'm reviving this thread because I'm curious as well. I'm 18 weeks and tried to stop taking this weekend, but within 24 hours I was throwing up again  I don't want it to mess with my supply but I'm scared to get off it it again anytime soon.

The same thing happened to me...I ran out of unisom before B6. I stayed off of the unisom until I remembered to buy more, maybe about 10 days or so. Nausea came and went, but overall, I was just feeling crappy. Just bought new unisom, and it is a glorious thing! I'm off of the B6 now, though. I'm 18 weeks today.

I stopped at 20 weeks to see if I still needed it and found that my nausea was mostly gone.

I was on a full tab of unisom + B6 for about 20 weeks. I stopped feeling the nausea around 15 weeks but kept taking it to be sure.

I stopped at about 12 weeks and had a few days of nausea but it cleared up quickly. I was mostly worried because I was having real difficulty falling asleep without the unisom, and I wanted to re train myself to sleep without it. I'm not sure, but i suspect the nausea I had during those few days was nervousness about being nauseous (irony at its best!) because as soon as I was sleeping better and not thinking about it as much, it went away.

I'm 19 weeks and still on unisom because I throw up every time I go off it. I ditched the B6 at about 13 weeks. I'm hoping I'll be better enough to go off the unisom soon.

I stopped cold turkey at 21 weeks when my midwife said it could start to affect my supply. I felt better after a couple days.

My nurse suggested I started b6 and 1/2 tab of unisom daily to control my nausea. I never had it as bad as lot of you ladies do (lots of feeling sick, not much actual getting sick), but the combo definitely helped control things.

Around 11 weeks my nausea really started letting up and by 13 weeks it was basically gone. I'm now at 14.5 weeks and I ran out of unisom so I just didn't buy more. Today is my first day without it and I feel so sick this afternoon (I did still take the b6 this morning).

So I'm wondering if I need to stay on the unisom longer? Or if maybe my body is just adjusting to not being on it and I should give it a few days?

If you were on this combo, when did you discontinue it?
