Which I recommend to EVERYONE. OMG it's amazing and our twins have both slept through the night consistently since we started in them. We stopped at 3.5 months when she was really fighting it, and she immediately started sleeping through the night as soon as we dropped the swaddle. We have tried going without but he will be exhausted and not fall asleep. He hasn't mastered sucking to self-soothe and is still very much uncoordinated so trying to get his fingers in his mouth is too distracting. I expect this will change very soon and would like to stop swaddling him because it makes it too difficult to get him to take naps anywhere other than home. DS loved being swaddled and couldn't sleep without it. He learned to roll long before we weaned. He would never roll in his sleep while swaddled so it wasn't a problem. We decided to wean because he rolled over while swaddled one day when I went to get him up from his nap. I flipped him over to see if he would do it again and he did! BUT I know the nanny swaddles her for naps, which I don't have a problem with. She even "swaddled" my two year old for his naps until very recently, hahaha. My friend gave me some sleep sacks to help wean her when the time comes, though.</p> <p>What have your experiences been? </p>
