Now that she's a little bigger, I've been braver at clipping her nails, but she still scratches her face up.<br /> I've been trying to do more and more time without the mittens though this past week because her hands started getting stinky. We did have a point around 4 months or so where he started scratching the back of his head when he got really frustrated. LO has held my fingers/hand to soothe herself from basically day 1 and she never liked her hands or arms to be restricted (so she hated swaddling, too). So far, little miss has been wearing mittens for nearly every day for the past five weeks. But between the move and more places for tiny things to fall, never to be seen again, I'm debating on whether to buy more mittens. Currently I have four pairs. </p> <p>Did you use mittens on your LO?
