Doctor said wait one cycle for your body to normalize. My period came a month+ after and was very light. One doc said we didn't need to wait at all and another doc told us to wait one cycle. We opted to wait one cycle and I'm very glad we did. I think it was important to have that time for my body and my mind to recover. My doctor told me one cycle. Of course, we didn't get pregnant and I was actually pretty relieved because I would've hated to have another m/c and blame myself for not waiting. But she told us to wait at least until I got AF again. That didn't happen for 10 weeks so around 8 weeks later we said screw it and had unprotected sex!! She told me all I needed to know about the D&amp;C and recovery but I didn't get a clear answer on how long you should wait after m/c to start trying again? I m/c'd pretty early, at 6wk 2d so it was a "normal" m/c.</p> <p>Today is 1 month (and 1 day) post-D&amp;C. I haven't gotten AF yet, but was wondering what the norm is, or when it's safe to start trying again. </p>
