My doctor knows I have an ovulation issue so he decided to put me on fertility meds to help me ovulate in a couple of weeks. No waiting to see if it will happen naturally. I did bloodwork on this cycle (8) and now I'm going to an endocrinologist in two weeks (thyroid issues). Both SAs with the urologist showed low motility so our first appointment with the RE was at 5 months. She is an OBGYN and a Fertility Specialists. For the next 4 months she had me on a bunch of supplements and using OPKs. She called this "enhancing my fertility." After that was up she ran a ton of tests which included a bunch of blood work, an HSG, a saline sonogram, and a sperm analysis for DH. The SA showed a motility issue so for this cycle she had me on Femara and we are doing an IUI as soon as I O. I mentioned we hadn't been successful and she recommended tests.
