In a perfect world, I would have waited longer but there's no way I would change any of it now if I could. She's now 22 months and we're TTC #2. I'm 34 and my husband is 30, had we been younger I think we would have waited longer, perhaps as much as 4-5 years but since we want a large family we decided to start sooner. It was very important to us that we at least have that year together because we only dated 2 years before getting married and we didn't live together before then. We really needed the first year just the two of us.
