If I end up not doing that, DH will get a vasectomy when we can manage with him being out of commission for a couple days. </p> <p>I'm currently 38, I'm on my 2nd child, and we will have both genders. I am done done done. But even if some tragedy were to happen with this baby, I just can't do pregnancy again. I get pregnant super easily and we were actively preventing when I got pregnant this time (we're still not even sure how it happened). Good thing we want another! Honestly it would probably be best for both of us to get fixed but I don't know when I would do it if I don't have a c-section (and I'm not planning on one now). But no way could my uterus handle another pregnancy, so there wasn't really any question. We've always said we were done at two but I am not so sure now. We planned for DH to have a vasectomy at some point not to long after DS was born but haven't discussed it much recently. I'm on BC for now. I think I'd like to wait until DS is a year old and re-evaluate.
