Mine were in it until they hit the weight limit of 25lbs! It was their most favorite thing in the WORLD.

Seems like she would probably get tired of it quick :(

@MamaMoose: That might work but she just doesn't like to be stationary for long. She has a little toy kitchen that I sit her in front of in a boppy & she likes it but is bored pretty quickly. Maybe a Zany Zoo would hold her attention longer?

@Grace: She hates tummy time. She has a tummy time mat downstairs & I can only get maybe 5 minutes. She will go longer if I am on the floor with her & we are practicing crawling but I'm looking for a way to occupy her so I can get stuff done!

I think she'll probably be sick of it very quickly once she's a little stronger. When about something like a zany zoo that she can sit up in front of (and just put the boppy around her in case she falls over).

We have one and have put LO in it at different times, he's 6.5 months now and doesn't care about it at all and we've had it since he was probably 2 months, so it's not like he grew out of it/tired of it. I mostly put him in it and swing it back and forth (with his feet only a few inches off the ground, not super high up)..he likes to swing OK but won't jump at all.

L LOVED it, until she could crawl and move on her own. Then she had no patience being contained. That's probably why all the reviews are from parents of kids so young.

So, she probably used it from 4 mo - 5.5 mo

What happens if you just leave her on her tummy? That's what I did most of the time. Now that LO is pulling up and crawling, she doesn't love the jolly jumper too much.

My nephew had one and he used it until he could start walking. After he started walking he didn't want to have anything to do with it. He walked at 10 months

We're in need of an entertaining "container" for LO downstairs. (I never thought I'd be a "container" user, but LO is very active & doesn't like to be worn for long!)

Upstairs we have the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo & that will keep her happy for some time. Downstairs, we used to use the bouncer & the Bumbo, but she has outgrown both now at 6.5 months. She sits up, but is still not stable enough so I have been rigging up pillow forts of her on the floor & surrounding her with toys. It takes up a lot of space, collects dog hair & she gets bored easily anyway.

I was thinking of getting her a Johnny Jump Up since she loves her jumperoo so much. (I know there are safety concerns with doorway jumpers but she would never be unsupervised.) However, it seems like most reviews are from parents of 3-5 month olds. The weight limit goes up to 24 lbs but I am concerned she might outgrow it soon?
