She keeps telling me I didn't like it, but I think she just didn't have good support to keep at it. I'm pretty tongue tied, so I'm guessing that made it hard on us. I self-weaned at a year, and my sister self-weaned at 9 months. I'm sure she would have gone longer if we didn't. She also cloth diapered and had 2 natural births. I felt really bad for having an epidural because I thought my mom would freak out (she didn't) and then for starting supplementing at 3 months because I thought my mom would freak out (she didn't). She was the only person she knew at the time (late 70's) that actually breastfed, all her friends formula fed only.
