My parents stayed with us for the first week &amp; DH worked 2 half days. The 2nd week he took 2 full days off &amp; worked 3 half days. This week, he's going to try to come home early when he can.</p> <p>I've been having trouble adjusting to caring for DS all alone, so DH is trying to be flexible with taking time off. It worked out terribly, he was planning on taking a week off, but she was born during march break (almost 3 weeks early) and all his co-workers were out of the office on vacation. The plan was for him to hold down the fort while they were away, then he'd have the next 2-3 weeks where he could leave at any time I went into labour. My sister stayed with me that whole first week though, I couldn't have done it without her. </p>
